The Home Owners Alliance have a growing reputation for dealing with all manner of housing issues. It presents them in a very readable format and explains them without bias. It deals with a wider range of issues than the Leasehold Advisory Service and aims to take the stress out of home ownership. Hidden away on the government website is a huge amount of useful information on flat ownership and rental. Much of this is aimed at renters with either short or long term rental agreements. Some renters/tenants will be unclear what their rights are -especially younger people new to the property market. Rental regulations are explained in a very clear, lucid and organised way. The beauty about the government website is that it can be guaranteed to be up to date with any changes in law and is authoritative.
